Editing your book
Add your photos, change layouts, edit text and colors, and arrange pages in an asemb.ly book.
Editing happens on books you own. A book starts as a draft. You can rename it, keep editing, or archive it. Your book list hides archived and deleted books.
Photos
You add photos to your account, then place them in a book. A photo can be cropped in its frame. Auto-layout arranges photos you added. It does not create images.
Layouts
Spreads use the layouts from the template. You can swap the layout on a spread and swap which photo sits in a frame.
Text and colors
You can change text, point text at a color in the active palette, set a page background color, and switch the book’s font pairing. Pairings are chosen from the fonts already defined for the template.
Pages
You can insert, reorder, and delete spreads. Destructive edits can save a checkpoint first, and you can list versions and restore one.
TODO: This page lists what the book APIs support. The click paths in the live editor (where each control sits) were not checked against the running app.
